Support Watershed Literacy
The Bay Institute, one of the most effective and respected conservation organizations in the region, is now able to reach more than a half million visitors a year at Aquarium of the Bay, a world-class marine nature center dedicated to San Francisco Bay.

On June 11, 2009, with major support from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund, and an anonymous donor, The Bay Institute, through its affiliate The Bay Institute Aquarium Foundation, purchased Aquarium of the Bay.

In June 2010, we launched our "Campaign for Watershed Literacy" to respond to the urgent need to educate and inspire young people to lifelong action to protect the estuary and its vast watershed.

As part of the campaign, we are reaching out to you to help us raise $3 million to enhance and expand our education programs.  If you'd like more information or are interested in learning how your corporation, foundation or other organization can contribute to this effort, please contact Susan Kavet, Development Director, at 415.623.5346 or susan@bay.org.

Please consider joining our Campaign for Watershed Literacy with a gift to one of the following funding needs:
Your donation will help us reach our Campaign for Watershed Literacy goal, and you will receive special campaign recognition.  Individual gifts of $1,000 and above receive membership in The Bay Institute's President Circle.
