Journal Entry By: Creek Restoration While I was at the creek restoration on the Bloom Ranch in Chileno Valley, I had a blast! We got to hammer poles into the ground and set netting. But the best thing was that I was helping the environment. The reason we did this was to fix up the banks. We needed to stop the erosion of soils filling in the creek. I had more fun than most because my mom came along and helped. It was a great way to spend a field trip. If I get the opportunity again, there is no question that I am going.
"STRAW" By Angie M. Working at the creek Helping the world, it feels so great Hearing the cows moo Seeing green pastures and blue skies And smelling the country air. We worked all day We helped a lot and in the end… We saved one of many creeks.
